RideWithGPS.com Evening Seminar with Bob Wolf and Zack Ham
On Thursday, Nov. 8th, join us for an enlightening RideWithGPS.com evening seminar led by Bob Wolf of the Charles River Wheelmen and special guest, RideWithGPS.com co-founder Zack Ham, who will be here via Skype to help answer all of your burning RideWithGPS questions.
RideWithGPS.com is the online treasury of all of the fantastic riding routes in New England and beyond. Every time someone comes to us interested in a route, we jump right on RideWithGPS.com and find just what the rider is looking for. Want to go off road to some of the hidden dirt paths in the area? Or maybe you want to ride a century without seeing much traffic. Or select a route with a particular level of difficulty. Or even create your own route from scratch.
RideWithGPS has not only cataloged our favorite routes and makes it easy to find the ones that suit you, but also offers the ability to print them out in cue sheet form (don’t have a GPS unit? No worries!) Downloading rides to a Garmin bike computer couldn’t be simpler. It’s also very easy to upload GPS data from a ride and see the metrics from the day: how many feet did you climb? See the route, which lake was it that you rode past? Was your heart rate too high?
Track the hours and miles you ride daily, then see them add up on your training calendar that is displayed withing RideWithGPS.
Want to see how well you rode compared to your riding buddies? RideWithGPS.com offers rankings and performance data for various distances and portions of rides.
Creating courses by drawing them on the map allows turn-by-turn cue sheets to be automatically generated. This way, it’s possible to create a route for your group or club without having to ride it. There are a lot of tips and tricks to making a route and Bob will go through these.
All of these aspects of RideWithGPS.com will be presented along with a 1/2 hour Q&A featuring RideWithGPS.com co-founder Zach Ham. This is an evening not to miss – expand your world of bike riding by using RideWithGPS to the maximum of its capabilities!
Please be sure to RSVP (e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org) by November 6th so we have a seat reserved for you.
