Each Public has a serial number on the badge. This one is number 365. Pretty cool-–maybe for riding 365 days a year?
Public offers three gearing options:
- Single Speed: their lightest model for flat lands, fit riders, and walk up apartments.
- Three Speeds: for modest hills with extra power on flat lands.
- Eight Speeds: For all purposes; their most versatile model for any terrain.
The three and eight speed models have internal gears so they are very clean, low maintenance, and look great.
