Seven is bringing the Studio a slew – really, nearly a slew-and-a-half – of brand new bikes for the 2012 season.  Come by to get a glimpse of Seven’s latest designs, a couple of prototypes, even a classic Seven or two, and learn about their plans for the 2012 season – and beyond.

Bikes, Bikes, and More Bikes

We’ll have road, mountain, cyclocross, commuting, and tandem bikes all on display.  There’s never been this many built-up Sevens in one place at one time.  Unfortunately all these bikes will only be at the Studio for this one evening so don’t miss out!

Here’s a partial list of the Seven’s we’ll have for the evening – most of which have never been on display before:

  • The first bike that Seven ever built – can you guess what type of bike that was?
  • An Elium with Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting will be on display – the first viewing of the new Ultegra in this area
  • The infamous Berliner Bike
  • Seven’s 2012 Mudhoney PRO – an entirely new frame design platform
  • New Axiom SL that is just back from a rave review by Bicycling Magazine – with Shimano Dura Ace Di2 Electronic shifting with internal seat post battery mount
  • Seven’s newest category of randonneuring bike, replete with generator hub light and other rando essentials
  • The Limited Edition Giro bike that the Studio and Cascade Bicycle Studio collaborated on
  • A beautiful custom titanium tandem
  • And other bikes that we’ll be unavailing in the next few days

We’ll also have some Seven employee bikes on display – including race bikes, commuter bikes, and a couple special project bikes.

Speaking of Seven employees…

Some Seveneers

We hope to have a few folks that work at Seven joining us, too.  You can ask them all the questions you never got good answers to before.  Like, “Isn’t titanium too flexible to make a good bike out of?”  “Do you really make your carbon bikes in house?”  “What type of steel do you use in your bikes?”

You may even by able to decipher some of the Gordian knot that is the local framebuilding family tree.

Seven Questions & About Seven Answers

Rather than having Seven make presentation about why Seven rocks, we thought we’d do something a bit different.  And we wanted to keep it fun and not too long-winded; we know how Rob Vandermark can get.

Anyway, if you email us your best questions, we’ll put them in the hat and see if we can trip-up the Seveneers with some tough questions!  We look forward to seeing what you come up with.  We’re going to ask them Seven questions and we better get Seven good answers!

A Printed Brochure?

We’re also lucky to be the first to show Seven’s 2012 brochure!  We’ve seen a couple pages and it’s sure to be a keeper.  We’ll have one available for each person that comes to the event.

Rumor has it that Seven might even bring their first brochure from 1997Ouch.

Special Offer!

Anyone that comes to the event will receive a special offer through the Studio.  Purchase a Seven bike by December 31 and you will receive your preference of one of the following from the Studio:

We’re excited to offer these great upgrade options.  It’ll be difficult to choose which is best!

Food & Drink

Of course, we’ll have the usual Studio fare along with a special drink for the evening.  Can you guess what it might be?

And More!

We'll be adding more to this list over the next few days.  Check back for additional details.
