Our focus at the Studio Cafe is to provide you with the best drink experience possible. This begins with friendly baristas and a relentless focus on continuously improving our drink-making methods.
If you’re looking for the best coffee and espresso drinks around, we hope the Studio Cafe is on your list.
The Cafe is also “Ride Central” as a meeting place for cyclists. Locating the Studio in Lexington Center—at the convergence of the bike path, Mass Ave., and Waltham St.—makes RSC the perfect spot for any ride to begin, wrap-up, or take a mid-ride fuel-up break.
Coffee & Espresso
The Studio’s approach to coffee and espresso drinks is thoughtful and unusual. We work with a number of roasters to provide the best coffee experience possible.
We are proud to have the legendary George Howell coffee as our house roaster. Bags of GH coffee are always for sale on our shelves and we’re happy to help you find the right coffee to enjoy at home.
Every 3-4 months we bring in a new guest roaster for you to try, and for us to geek out on. We enjoy finding these new and wonderful roasters to introduce to the Studio community and frequently invite them to the Studio for informative and interactive events for our curious community.
Some of our most recent guest coffee roasters include: Olympia, Phil & Sebastian, Passionhouse, Gracenote, Tandem, Four Barrel, Ceremony, Heart, MadCap, Sightglass Coffee, Ritual Coffee Roasters, and Cafe Grumpy.
Our Cold Brew coffee is second to none. Sal’s recipe makes an amazing cup every time. He was interviewed on NPR’s Here and Now to discuss Cold Brew and his amazing recipe is posted. Listen to Sal (& San from Gracenote) talk about cold brew!
We also sell growlers of our cold brew to take home. To purchase or refill a growler, please call the Cafe 24-hours in advance.
Tea & Chai
We offer a variety of sweet drinks ranging from hot chocolate to some Cafe exclusive drinks. Come by to try the ever-changing menu. We have ample non-caffeinated options.
In the fall and winter, we have Apple Cider from local orchards.
The Studio Cafe offers hearty, slow-cooked steel cut oatmeal with your choice of toppings including fresh blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries, dried dates, brown sugar, milk (whole, 1%, nut milk), pecans, flax, and chia seeds!
We also offer a big spread of sweet and savory pastries baked by Iggy’s Bread in Cambridge (croissants, pecan sticky buns) and Nashoba Brook Bakery in West Concord (scones, coffee cake, macaroons, cookies, biscotti and more!).
We proudly sell insanely delicious hand made chocolates from Arlington’s NamaKiss. Nama Kiss sweets do not contain dairy, eggs, soy, or gluten, and are free of white sugar, additives, and preservatives.
We also have extra thick, hand cut slices of Nashoba Brook’s slow-rise bread with a range of toppings from sweet (like butter and jam) to savory and protein-rich (like cheese, hummus, almond butter).
